Doja Cat is getting all the wrong kind of attention.

As per The Daily Mail, the rapper reportedly lost more than 2,50,000 followers on Instagram after she publicly called her loyal fanbase out earlier this week.

Doja’s huge social media loss comes just days after the 27-year-old slammed her fans for calling themselves Kittenz.

The singer whose real name is Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini wrote on Threads,

“My fans don’t name themselves s–t,”
“If you call yourself a ‘kitten’ or f–king ‘kittenz’ that means you need to get off your phone and get a job and help your parents with the house.”

After that statement, a fan asked her what they should change their social media handles to, the Grammy winner told them to delete their “entire account and rethink everything.”

She also slammed her fans for using her legal name on their social media accounts.

In since-deleted threads, Cat wrote, “You making my government name your sn [screenname] is creepy as f—k,”

When a Taylor Swift fan account told the Attention rapper she would be nowhere without her fan, she responded, “Nobody forced you, [I don’t know] why you’re talking to me like you’re my mother bitch, you sound like a c**** person.”

The Say So hitmaker’s harsh approach caused many of her biggest fan pages including The Kittens Room, Doja HQ, and Doja Cat News to delete their account.

Internet users slam Doja for her ungrateful behavior

Internet users also expressed their anger over how Doja Cat was being so mean to her fans for no reason at all.

Referencing her feline look at the 2023 Met Gala, One user tweeted,

“Doja being mean to her fans for bc [sic] of the word kitten like her name isn’t doja CAT and she wasn’t dressed as a cat and meowed her way through an entire interview a few months ago oh she has lost her mind,”

Another wrote,

”Stans, fans and people who look to “celebrities ” for advice, inspiration, support, validation and more…………THIS IS WHAT THEY ALL THINK OF YOU WHILE TAKING YOUR MONEY.”

”Hate to break it to you celebrities, you need the fans and their disposable income. They don’t need you!”

Another user warned Doja,

”DC…you are not all that…..you can always be replaced if and when we (the fans) say so. Don’t forget that.”

Doja has since deleted her Threads account.

Apart from her mean words, the Woman singer has also been shocking fans with her new look including her shaved head and eyebrows and massive bedazzled spider on her head, which many labeled as demonic.
