The new US President was asked in his interview with New York Post whether he will make efforts to deny Harry visa extension for the USA. The president asserted that he is not keen to do so. Donald said:

“I’ll leave him alone. He’s got enough problems with his wife. She’s terrible.”

This statement has added oil to the fiery rumors that are ongoing since many months now about the divorce of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. People were already speculating that Harry’s marriage is in the doldrums.

This is not the first time that Donald has spoken ill about Meghan. He had done so in April 2022 as well during his interview with Piers Morgan. He had said that the lady is leading Harry by the nose. Donald called her a disrespectful woman who would ruin Harry’s life. He added that the marital relationship would not last. Moreover, it would end on a bitter note.

Donald suggested that Queen Elizabeth II who was alive at that time should strip the couple of their royal titles. They had, anyway, given up their senior royal duties and relocated to the USA in June 2020. Additionally, the President had predicted that Harry would crawl back to England and the royal family on his hands and knees.

Both Meghan and Harry had been in failed relationships before they met in the summer of 2016 via a common friend, Violet von Westenholz, a Ralph Lauren PR executive.

Violet had uploaded a video of herself with Meghan who had come on a holiday to London. Harry saw this video on Violet’s instagram and fell for Meghan’s angelic face. The two exchanged phone numbers and went for their first date together.

The couple took a trip to Botswana a few weeks later. The same November, Kensington Palace confirmed their relationship. The two lovebirds appeared together at an event in May 2017.

Their engagement announcement came in November 2017. And on 19th May 2018, they exchanged wedding vows in London in a grand ceremony attended by many dignitaries and celebrities from around the world.

On 6th May 2019, their first child, son Archie Mountbatten-Windsor was born. However, in 2020, they decided to step down from their senior royal member duties and relocated to California.

On 4th June 2021, they welcomed daughter Lilibet. They did a brief return to the UK to attend Queen’s funeral in September 2022. Soon after, in January 2023, Harry released his memoir, Spare.

Now, since many months, speculations are rife that the two are divorcing. Meghan and Harry have gone their different ways in their professional life. Meghan is busy with her business ventures while Harry is concentrating on philanthropic work.
