Donald Trump would not support Prince Harry if re-elected as president in 2024!

The former President of the USA, Donald Trump is contemplating a comeback. And he is in no mood to pardon Prince Harry for betraying his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.

Recently, Donald stated that if he won the Presidential elections, he would not support Harry. Moreover, he criticized Joe Biden for helping Harry.

Donald Trump is not a supporter of Prince Harry

Prince Harry, the former Duke of Sussex stepped down from his royal duties in 2020. Subsequently, he relocated to California, USA with his wife, Meghan Markle.

New York Post reports that the former President of the USA, Donald Trump is not happy with Prince Harry migrating to the USA with his American wife and two children, Lilibet and Archie.

At the Conservative Political Action Conference held in Maryland on 24 February 2024, Donald expressed that if he is re-elected, he will not support Harry.

He said:

“I wouldn’t protect him.”
“He betrayed the Queen. That’s unforgivable. He would be on his own if it was down to me,”

Furthermore, he criticized Joe Biden and his administration for being lenient towards the couple.

Prince Harry and the immigration dispute

Additionally, there is a legal dispute ongoing against Harry over his immigration status. The conservative think tank Heritage Foundation has begun this legal case against Harry.

As per Time magazine, the said foundation has used the American Department of Homeland Security. They want to get hold of the immigration records of Prince Harry. They want to know under what law is the Prince allowed to reside in the USA.

The foundation states that Prince Harry had admitted in his memoir titled Spare that he was addicted to drugs in the past. He had revealed that he used to consume cocaine, marijuana, and also psychedelic mushrooms in the past.

Under these circumstances, Prince Harry cannot be allowed to be in the USA as per the current legislation as regards drug use and immigration, the foundation states.

However, the advocates of the Department of Homeland Security feel that this stance and argument of the foundation is wrong.

The authors assert that the foundations of memoirs are not reliable. An author may not provide sworn testimony and could exaggerate facts to boost book sales.

Is Prince Harry seeking US citizenship?

Though Meghan Markle holds American citizenship, Prince Harry has clarified that he is not looking to become a citizen of the USA. At the moment, it is not his top priority.

There have been some reports that state that Harry might also return to his royal duties. These reports come amidst the health challenges of King Charles who has been diagnosed with cancer recently.

Harry believes that it might help him mend his strained relations with his ailing father.

Sources close to the King have revealed that King Charles has ruled out the possibility of Prince Harry returning to the UK as a royal member for his royal duties.

The current royal members still believe that the resolutions passed at the January 2020 “Sandringham Summit” are valid. Hence no royal can have a half-in and half-out position.
