Drake Pauses Concert to Cover the Medical Expenses of a Fan with Multiple Sclerosis!

The rapper paused his concert to offer to cover the medical expense of a fan who announced she has multiple sclerosis.
Then the Hotline Bling rapper told the woman during his Toronto show on Friday,
“I’ma pay whatever it takes to get you get the best help in the world, I promise you that,”
In the footage that later went viral on Twitter, the Grammy winner even said that he would connect the fan with his longtime producer friend Noah “40” Shebib, who also has MS.
Shebib, who has made numerous hits with the Canadian rapper was diagnosed with the chronic disease over a decade ago.
Multiple Sclerosis is an illness that impacts the brain and the central nervous system, potentially causing numbness, tingling, mood changes, memory problems, pain, fatigue, blindness, and paralysis, according to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
The Canadian musician also invited the fan for his second concert in his hometown on Saturday night.
The rapper’s generosity didn’t end there. He also offered to pay the tuition of two other fans who requested financial help with their signs.
Pointing out at the concertgoers, Drake said, “This what I’ma do. We payin’ for your tuition tonight,”
He added,
“And we gonna find five more people that need their tuition paid. I’m taking care of everything,”

A look at Drake’s philanthropic history
Drake’s philanthropic gesture has a long history.
In 2020, he donated $100,000 to the National Bail Out fund, a program that helps protestors who were arrested during the George Flyod protests.
Just years before that, the Nonstop hitmaker spent $50,000 to buy groceries for people who came to shop at a Miami store.
Around that time, he gifted a student at the University of Miami $50,000 to pay her college tuition. He also donated another $50,000 to the Lotus House Women’s Shelter.
The kind gesture continued two weeks later when he surprised a hotel housekeeper with a $10,000 shopping spree and spa to celebrate her hard work.
The father of one revealed during his eighth album release For All the Dogs that he is planning to take a break from music to pay attention to his health.
He said on SiriusXM’s Sound 42 on Friday,
“I probably won’t make music for a bit. I’m going to be honest,”
“I need to focus on my health first and foremost. And I’ll talk about that soon enough. Nothing crazy. But just, you know, I want people to be healthy in life.”
He added,
“I’ve been having the craziest problems for years with my stomach,”
“I need to focus on my health and I need to get right.”
