Eazy-E- Professional Life, Career

In the mid-1980s, Eazy-E began recording songs. During this time, his friend Jerry Heller had the notion to start a business. Both young guys put their money into Ruthless Records.

Eazy-E founded the hip-hop group N.W.A., an abbreviation for Niggaz With Attitude, in 1986. Wright, O’Shea “Ice Cube” Jackson, Andre “Dr. Dre” Young, DJ Yella, MC Ren, and Arabian Prince were among the performers.

‘N.W.A. and the Posse’ was published by the group in 1987. It featured tunes created by Dr. Dre as well as previously released tracks by N.W.A., Eazy-E, the Fila Fresh Crew, and Rappinstine. The album was a huge success and was certified gold in the United States.

Their rising stature drove the group to explore more contentious territory, and they released ‘Straight Outta Compton’ in August 1988. Music critics praised the album for its use of profanity and violent lyrics.

Wright rose to fame as “Eazy-E” as his musical career took off. In September 1988, he released his debut solo album, ‘Eazy-Duz-It’. Some of the songs were about the gangster culture in his birthplace of Compton, which immediately struck a chord with many of the kids.

N.W.A released an EP called ‘100 Miles and Runnin’ in 1990, which was a huge success.  Due to internal conflicts, the band disbanded soon after its debut. However, the dissolution of the trio had no detrimental influence on Eazy-E’s solo career because he had already established himself as a well-liked rapper in his own right.

In 1993, he released the EP ‘It’s On (Dr. Dre) 187um Killa,’ which maintained his run of popularity. It debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 and No. 1 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums within a year of its release, and it was certified multi-platinum.
