Elizabeth Alvarez was born on August 30, 1977, in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, Mexico. She is currently 46 years old and holds Mexican nationality. She is the daughter of Ma. de Lourdes Ronquillo, and Alfredo Álvarez.

Talking about her educational qualifications, she enrolled at Televisa’s Centro de Educación Artística (CEA- Center of Artistic Education).

Elizabeth Alvarez first made a guest appearance in a telenovela series titled “Mi Destino Eres Tú” in 2000. Then, she had a recurring role in 2001 Amigas y rivales as Rocio, and in 2002-2003, as Sonia “Francis” Vásquez Solís in Las Vias del Amor.

In 2004, Elizabeth was selected for the third season of Big Brother but was eliminated. The same year, she was seen in the movie La Vulka as Lola.  In 2005, Alvarez had a recurring role in telenovela Sueños y Caramelos as Rocío de los Santos, and Contra Viento y Marea as Minerva de Lizárraga.

Likewise, she has been cast in lead roles in movies, such as La Fea Más Bella (2006-2007), Fuego En La Sangre (2008), Amorcito Corazon (2011-2012), Corazón Indomable (2013), El vuelo de la victoria (2017), and La Herencia (2022).
