Emma Chamberlain and Role Model, who have been keeping their relationship secret for years, have just taken their romance public on the occasion of Valentine’s Day.

The 21-year-old musician, whose real name is Tucker Pillsbury, finally spoke about his relationship with the social media sensation, 21, in a cover shoot for GQ’s Valentine’s Day issue.

He confirmed their romance with the statement,

“I know that people are going to be like, ‘Emma, you’re a f–king hypocrite,’ because I always said this is something I will never do,”

Emma then went on to add,

“There’s parts of our relationship that are going to be private forever, and those things we keep sacred. But I don’t think we need to be secret anymore. It’s just like, I’m over that s–t.”
“A hard launch? Totally. This is hard launch vibes,”

Why are Emma Chamberlain and Role Model keeping their relationship low-key?

Emma and Tucker have never kept their relationship secret but prefer to keep it private. The YouTuber clarified in the interview published on February 14 that she is now done hiding her relationship with the musician.

She explained,

“That used to be my mindset: ‘I’m protecting this at all costs and not letting anybody see it. But, actually, that’s not fun. It’s not f–king fun. And what’s life about? Having f–king fun, okay? Sh-t should just be f–king fun! Why stop yourself from doing that?”

After that, Pillsbury added reflecting on his girlfriend’s opinions,

“We have a very just unproblematic, safe, private—when we want to be private—relationship. We’re never going to be posting photos and selfies of us on a beach in Cabo. We just are trying to be professional within our own careers.”

How long Emma Chamberlain and Role Model have been together?

Role Model was the one who instantly connected with Emma when he saw her for the first time in one of her TikTok videos in March 2020.

The two then started talking in messages for months until they were spotted having dinner together at Saddle Ranch in Pap Galore’s YouTube video in September 2020.

In January 2022, Emma appeared in an episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast where she gushed about her partner calling him “incredible,” and “supportive” and that she has no “complaints” from him. However, she hasn’t disclosed the identity of her boyfriend at the time.

Emma and Role then fueled their relationship speculation in March 2022 when the duo made their red-carpet debut at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party. The same month, Model released a music video for his song, neverletyougo featuring a girl who looks like Emma, whose backside only appeared in the whole video.

Similarly, the musician hinted at his relationship with Emma during an interview with GQ. He said at the time,

“She has an insane amount of influence, and people constantly watch her every move. I don’t want anyone following me for any other reason other than my music. She was super chill about it, but I’m still very scared”
