But, now, it seems his voice is not supporting him. The singer is facing voice issues on his recent tour that is causing him to become an object of ridicule. His fans are upset and he is drawing boos from them.

Enrique is on a music tour with his fellow Latin singers, Ricky Martin and Pitbull and the tour is all sold out. The other singers are doing fine but Enrique seems to have suffered damaged vocal cords and has a radically changed voice. This is not to the liking of his listeners.

Hear what an insider said…

An inside Source told National Enquirer:

“Years of performing have blown out his vocal cords,”

“He either needs surgery or a long rest — or he should retire!”

The source added:

“Enrique knows he has a problem,”

“He just can’t seem to find the notes any longer — and when this tour wraps next March, he plans to sit down with doctors and vocal coaches to see if he can get his mojo back!”

Enrique has done more than 1000 concerts in his life until now and this might have taken its toll on his voice. However, Enrique’s father, Julio Iglesias is also a singer. He is 80 now but continues to charm the world with his voice.

Fans mock Enrique

Enrique faced a lot of mockery on social media for his voice as well. One social media user wrote:

“I was actively having to control laughter”

She said this after hearing Enrique sing recently on the tour. And another shocked fan commented:

Is this an impersonator? What happened to Enrique?”

Enrique has struggles to hit the high notes. On this, one fan wrote:

“I want my money back — and I wasn’t even at the show!”

‘What happened to Enrique Iglesias?’ is trending on social media. People feel that Julio is aging like a fine wine while his son, Enrique is like a milk left on the table for a few days and turning sour.

Years of singing and practice can affect the vocal cords. They can get strained. This is more likely if the singer was using a false voice for singing or going falsetto while singing. Also singing in the high range for many years can damage the vocal cords and cause vocal cord nodules that affect the voice quality. Rest to voice with or without surgery is the option in these cases.

Hope Enrique can revive back or else, it will be a sad end of a great singer.
