After the couple’s romance rumors broke on Thursday, the Broadway actor quickly locked his social media account so that only 84,000 of his followers could now see his post.

Numerous sources claimed that the SpongeBob Musical: Live on Stage! actor, 31, and the Thank u, Next singer, 30 are dating after meeting on the set of their new movie Wicked.

In March, the rumored couple came together to celebrate Michelle Yeoh‘s Oscar win in London. A photo showed Slater and Grande seated together with his arm around her.

The news of Ariana and Ethan’s romance came just days after news broke that the Grammy winner was divorcing her husband, Dalton Gomez, just after two years of marriage.

A source confirmed to Page Six that the two have been separated since January and that the split was amicable.
