Fleur East and Marcel Badiane-Robin have welcomed their first child a baby girl.
They had named their newborn daughter Nova.

A family of three! Fleur East and her husband Marcel Badiane-Robin have expanded their family.

The former X Factor star, 36, took to Instagram on Sunday, March 31, to share the happy news that she and her husband have welcomed their first child a baby girl.

They had named their newborn daughter Nova. Fleur shared a series of photos debuting Nova on Instagram, however, hadn’t revealed her face.

The first photo of the post showed herself carrying the baby on her chest.

She proudly shared a video of herself enjoying motherhood while carrying the baby, followed by a mirror selfie of the family of three including Marcel Bardiane-Robin.

The Strictly It Takes Two host further wrote in a caption,

“And just like that, our baby girl, Nova, is here!! Our daughter entered the world via squat position into the arms of my Husband and I on our living room floor. One day I will share my birth story with you (what a RIDE!), but for now, we are resting and doing well”

She expressed her gratitude toward “midwives who were by my side, her birthing partners (my auntie Tina and my Husband @marcel__robin), and all of our family who have been helping out and showering us with love.”

Fleur met Marcel in a bar in 2009 when he was working as a waiter while she was dating someone else at the time.

After almost a decade of dating, the singer and fashion designer tied the knot in June 2019 in Morocco. East recalled the proposal while giving a rare insight into their relationship.

‘I said yes immediately! How Marcel did everything was just wonderful…We’re in a really traditional Japanese hotel and there were petals on the bed and champagne…Then I turned around and he was there, with the ring. He said: “Fleur East, will you be my wife?” I couldn’t believe it. The ring is so beautiful and yellow is my favourite colour.'”

In January 2024, Fleur and Marcel then announced that they were expecting their first child. The Singer shared a photo of herself cradling her bump on New Year’s Day and wrote,

“2024 is gonna be different.”

Fortunately, the baby was born healthy and now they complete their family.
