Freida Pinto welcomed her first child with her husband Cory Tran. Freida announced the happy news on her Instagram on 21st November 2021 sharing photos of the newborn. They announced the baby’s birth on the occasion of Cory’s birthday. She captioned the photo,

“Happy Birthday Dada Cory. I celebrate you my husband, friend and partner in life. To see you become not just a Dad but Super-Dad makes me so emotional and fills me with joy. It also gives this sleep-deprived Mama a break and you have no idea how much I appreciate that! I am so grateful and in love with how we do life together.”

She first announced her pregnancy in June 2021 showing her baby bump while she smiled in a floral dress. She celebrated her baby shower four months after the pregnancy announcement. In October 2021, Pinto revealed that she and Tran eloped a year prior. She said,
