Garrison Brown, the 25-year-old son of TLC stars, Kody Brown and Janelle Brown is no more. He died due to an apparent suicide with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Garrison Brown is dead

TLC reality TV star, Garrison Brown is no more. He died at age of 25 due to an apparent suicide at his residence in Flagstaff, Arizona.

Garrison was the son of American reality TV stars, Janelle Brown and Kody Brown. They were on the show Sister Wives. Janelle was one of the four sisters who married the same husband, Kody.

Garrison was living alone at the Arizona home after he moved away from his family home. His brother, Gabriel found his unresponsive body and called the emergency. Garrison was declared dead on the spot. The Flagstaff Police Department told TMZ that they reached the home of Garrison when they had a report of death.

They suspect no foul play. Garrison had a gunshot wound that was self-inflicted. It is a clear case of suicide. But the body will have to be send for postmortem to rule out any other unnatural cause of death.

Mother Janelle Brown confirms the death

Mother Janelle Brown was heartbroken. She confirmed the tragic death on her Instagram. Janelle wrote:

“Kody and I are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beautiful boy Robert Garrison Brown,”
“He was a bright spot in the lives of all who knew him. His loss will leave such a big hole in our lives that it takes our breath away. We ask that you please respect our privacy and join us in honoring his memory.”

Along with this post, she uploaded two photos of Garrison.

Reps of Channel TLC spoke to Page Six. They said:

“We are devastated to hear of the tragic loss of Garrison Brown. We extend our deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to the Brown family at this difficult time.”

Garrison’s mother, Janelle was one of the four sisters who married the same man, Kody Brown, 55. The show Sister Wives details the polygamous life of Kody. Garrison used to feature on the show since 2010.

Janelle Brown , 54 and Kody Brown split in 2022 in the month of December. The family used to live in Utah but later migrated to Las Vegas (Sin City), Nevada, the USA. During the Covid-19 pandemic, father Kody had laid down very strict rules for the family members. They found it hard to follow and it lead to a family feud.

Garrison who was a National Guard member shifted to Arizona in 2021. He had purchased a house there and stayed there with his pets. Last week, he had shared an Instagram post that happens to be his last. In it, he had introduced to his fans the new addition to his family, a cat. He wrote:

“Newest edition to my home, Ms Buttons. She’s 9 years old and was on the line for euthanasia but my savior complex couldn’t suffice,”
