Gökhan Saki is a dutch Turkish former boxer as well as a mixed martial artist.

He is the former Glory Light Heavyweight Champion and won the inaugural title by defeating Nathan Corbett in the semifinals.

In 2017, he signed a multi-fight contract with the UFC.

Gokhan was born on 19th October 1983 in Schiedam, Netherlands. When he was a child he had some nicknames like The Rebel, Turkish Tyson, etc.

Gökhan Saki had begun his career at the age of 10. His initial trainer was Jan Pasztjerik.  He had returned to Pasztjerikan and joined production with Golden Glory and Pasztjerik in 2006.

In the same year, he made his K-1 debut at the K-1 World Grand Prix 2006 in Amsterdam. In 2007, he defeated Mourad Bouzidi at the K-1 World Grand Prix 2007 in Amsterdam.

Similarly, in 2008, he won the World Full Contact Association (WFCA) World Thaiboxing Super Heavyweight (+95 kg) Championship by defeating Englishman Chris Knowles via TKO in his hometown of Schiedam.

Starting with the year 2009, Gökhan Saki had begun with a defense of his WFCA World Thaiboxing Super Heavyweight Championship. While in 2010 he was able to bounce back by taking two wins including a defense of his WFCA Muay Thai title against Utley Mariana.

Following the trend, he entered the United Glory 2010/11 World Series in Amsterdam, Netherlands. From the Netherland, Saki had returned to Japan for the K-1 World Grand Prix 2010 Final. 

He had faced Daniel Ghiţă in the quarter-finals and won by unanimous decision after four rounds. But suddenly the fight stopped due to his right elbow which was also broken in his quarter-final fight.

In 2011, he returned again with recuperating from the injuries. Then he went to the World Series at United Glory 14: 2010–2011 in Moscow and Russia.

In 2012, he faced  Badr Hari, where he defeated Saki with ease, scoring three knockdowns in the first round before the referee stopped the fight, earning him a TKO victory.

While in 2013, he had a rematch with  Daniel Ghiţă at Glory 6: Istanbul in Istanbul, Turkey. Then in the year 2014, Saki was crowned as an inaugural Glory Light Heavyweight Champion.

In 2015, Mr. Saki was stripped of the Glory light heavyweight title due to inactivity in Glory. While he signed a multi-fight deal with the Ultimate Fighting Championship in 2017.

It was announced that Saki had left the UFC on February 8, 2021. Later, Saki confirmed that he asked the UFC to release him because of the numerous wounds he received while practicing mixed martial arts.
