Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton‘s relationship is taking a serious turn. They are one step closer to being husband and wife.

The engaged couple has applied for a marriage license through the Johnston County Court Clerk in Oklahoma. So, their marriage license will be valid for up to 10 days after the date of issue.

The couple is looking forward to their wedding this summer and is excited to have guests present. A source revealed about their wedding saying,

“Ever since they engaged, they have both been adamant that no wedding will happen until it’s safe for family and friends to attend. Gwen expressed early on that she really wanted a summer wedding. She was upset earlier this year when it seemed to be no end in sight for the pandemic.”

The insider added,

“She slowly started planning the wedding this spring though. They are both ecstatic that it can finally happen. They will marry this summer. Gwen’s boys will be very involved. Blake is a great extra dad and very close with the boys.”

Gwen and Blake have been officially dating each other since 2016 after meeting on the set of The Voice. They became engaged in October 2020 and are eager to tie the knot.
