Twitch streamer HasanAbi has been banned from Twitch after using the word ‘cracker’ during a Livestream. On 13th December 2021, after ending his stream where he debated a viewer on the use of the word to describe white people, he was banned from the website.

As a response to a viewer, HasanAbi said,

“I’ve been called a cracker more times than every single one of you f*****g pasty little cracker bitches in my chat, okay? I’ve been called a cracker a fu*kload more than you, do you know why? Because I’m extremely online, okay?”

He added,

“Recognise that the person calling you a fu*king cracker is literally powerless, okay? Sorry, it’s just the truth. The person calling you a fu*king cracker is powerless. They’re doing it as someone who’s been historically oppressed blowing off steam.”

After being suspended, he joined YouTube and is appearing alongside Amouranth on Ethan Klein’s channel.

Who is HasanAbi?

Hasan Dogan Piker known as HasanAbi is an American YouTuber. He is well-known for his political commentary and is one of the most viewed Twitch streamers.

Previously, he worked as a broadcast journalist and producer of The Young Turks and as a columnist at HuffPost.

Hasan was born on 25th July 1991 in New Brunswick, New Jersey, USA. He is 30 years old at present and was raised in Istanbul, Turkey.

Likewise, he was raised Muslim and is of Turkish descent. While Hasan was in middle school his father made him attend public school where he understood the socio-economic inequality between the less fortunate and the affluent families.

Likewise, he attended the University of Miami for two semesters transferred to Rutgers University, and graduated with a political science and communication studies in 2013. At Rutgers University, he was a member of the Theta Delta Chi fraternity.

During his spring break of senior year of college in 2013, he got an internship at The Young Turks Network.
