The couple is already parents to 4-years-old Gunner Stone.
They revealed the gender of the child by popping confetti cannons.

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are expecting a baby boy.

The pair who are proud parents of their 4-year-old boy Gunner announced in June that they were expecting another child.

The Hill alums discovered the sex of their second baby by popping confetti cannons at a party- which rained down blue revealing that it was a boy.

After learning that it was a boy, little Gunner presented his emotional parents with a blue cake for the occasion.

Heidi later claimed that the parents-to-be had an intuition that it would a girl until they popped the cannons.

The 35-year-old said:

“Growing up I always wanted boys and then recently, I kinda started thinking, I don’t know, I kinda want a girl and having one of each.”

”For Gunner, he really wants a brother, so, you know, ultimately I want what would be the best for him and his life.”

The father of the baby, however, did not mind whether it would be a boy or a girl.

The 38-year-old star said:

“As long as a human is in her belly, that’s a win.”
”We’re way past worrying about a gender in my brain. Thank you, God, there’s a baby here.”

The couple had to face hardships throughout the journey but is grateful for the family that they have created.

The mum-to-be explained:

‘”I’m so blessed and I’m healthy and I have a beautiful son, so I don’t wanna sound ungrateful at all because I am so grateful for everything that I have.”

Montag continued:

” At the same time, I was just hoping to have one more chance to be a mom to a little baby and to have that opportunity for my son to experience having a sibling.”

Now, all Heidi is focused on is taking care of herself and just enjoying the experience of motherhood once again.

She even said that it might be her last pregnancy so she wants to just slow down and enjoy every second of it until her baby arrives.
