Helen Mirren Revealed She Cried Tears of Joy When Her Friend Brendan Fraser Won Oscar for Best Actor!

Helen Mirren was happy about Brendan Fraser’s Oscar win
Helen Mirren is one true friend of Brendan Fraser.
The Oscar-winning actress revealed that she cried happy tears when watching Fraser win his first-ever Oscar at the 95th Academy Awards on Sunday night.
In a recent interview on The Kelly Clarkson Show on Friday, the 77-year-old actress said that she was at a restaurant when her dear friend Brendan, 54, won the Best Actor award for his unbelievable performance in The Whale.
The actress who was there to promote her latest film Shazam!: Fury of the Gods, said,
‘I cried when Brendan Fraser got the award,’
The Caligula star looked beautiful in a bright yellow frock with long sleeves and an A-line skirt. She accessorized her look with a black belt and a black headband on her head.
Kelly supported Mirren’s words, saying,
”That’s so cool. He did such an incredible job.”
Brendan and Helen worked together in the 2008 fantasy movie named Inkheart. The film was based on a teenage girl who finds out that her dad has a great talent for bringing characters out of their books.
The Emmy winner spoke of her former co-star, saying,
”He’s such a lovely person,”
”I’m sure you know what a beautiful man he is. He’s a magical man, I think.”
The Queen actress added,
‘‘And he was clearly very, very moved, it was a huge moment for him, so it was the right person for me, the way he responded to it, I just found it very moving.”

Helen had quite a moment at London airport after winning an Oscar
Mirren also shared that Brendan’s win for her was the highlight of the whole show.
Kelly also agreed with her guest and said,
”I love that when you’re rooting for someone because you believe in them, or their project, or whatever it might be, and they win. That’s a good feeling for everyone involved.”
Helen herself won an Oscar for Best Actress award for playing the character of Queen Elizabeth II in 2007.
After her big win, she returned to London and people then noticed who she was.
Mirren said,
‘While waiting at baggage claim, someone spotted me and started applauding,’
‘Word started traveling, and soon the whole baggage hall was applauding.’
The actress was storing her statue in her carry-on bag at the time.
She remembered,
”It was so incredible. Of course, I couldn’t resist — I reached into my bag and got my Oscar and held it up. I cried, I have to say; it was so touching and lovely.”
