The American plus-size model, Hunter McGrady, recently gave birth to her first baby. She and her husband, Brian Keys, welcomed their first baby, a baby boy, together.

McGrady is also stepmother to Key’s daughter from his previous marriage. The newly-turned parents gushed on social media with the arrival of their newborn.

Hunter McGrady is a mother to a baby boy

The 28-years old model, McGrady, gave birth to a baby boy with her husband. The model gave a teaser of her first child on her Instagram story on Sunday. She also attached a small caption with the picture which reads:

“I’ve never known a love like this. I’ve been enjoying and in pure bliss. Can’t wait to introduce you guys to this sweet boy.”

The adorable snaps of the newborn show a look at the newborn’s ear. The picture also shows a tiny hand grasping his mother’s finger. The model exclusively revealed she is pregnant with her first baby back in March.

At the time, the soon-to-be mother revealed they are excited and thrilled to welcome the new member of the family. She also mentioned, “after a tumultuous 2020 this feels like the rainbow at the end of the storm.”

McGrady gets candid about her pregnancy

While the model was pregnant with her baby, she candidly opened up about the lack of representation for a plus-size pregnant woman.

In a powerful Instagram post, she wrote plus-size representation already feels less and even more when plus-size and pregnant. She shared a mirror selfie while flaunting her baby bump, she further wrote:

“When I embarked on this journey I was excitedly googling pregnancy, plus size pregnancy, bump pictures, updates, all the things! However, I never saw myself represented.”

She continued:

“I knew going into this my belly wasn’t going to be this perfect little round thing that just bops out, I knew I wouldn’t have options for maternity wear, i knew my body would change in different ways than i have seen my whole life, and yet I don’t know if I was prepared for how much the plus size pregnancy representation lacks,”

The model also mentioned of lack of representation of plus-size pregnant women on magazine covers, advertisements, and television. She added they also tend to ignore the brochures at the OBGYN office.
