The Self-taught photographer is taking great risks and is prepared to go the extra mile (up) for that intense photo. She has been getting popular on Instagram for her adventurous and thrill-seeking selfies and was able to gain thousands of followers.
The reckless Selfies
Russian Angela hails from Moscow and is both terrifying and impressive in equal measure with her thrill-seeking selfies taken atop tall buildings.
Different poses and selfies on top of some of the world’s tallest buildings are all in a day’s work for this ‘craziest female roof topper in the world’, Angela Nikolau.
Being an urban explorer she’s constantly on the lookout for new challenges and new high-rise buildings to climb. And once she’s there, she never forgets to take a picture of herself that simply terrifies us.
She travels the world, with her daredevil efforts of capturing the attention of thousands on social media. This Russian photographer loves nothing more than clambering up extremely tall buildings and taking selfies with a facial expression that simply says #nofear.
Balancing on perilous ledges, peering down from the edge of roofs, or posing casually in sunglasses hundreds of feet up atop a skyscraper. She’s giving her more than 160,000 followers a daily dose of vertigo through their phone screens with these jaw-dropping shots.
The Partner in Crime
Incredible footage of the Russian beauty, 23, shows her climbing extreme heights in Hong Kong and China along with her boyfriend Ivan Kuznetsov, including scaling a 640-meter tall crane in the Chinese city of Tianjin.
Angela uses drones, body cameras, and a selfie stick to capture the incredible photos, sponsored by Travel Ticker, showing off the couple’s dangerous and often illegal conquests.
“They enjoy the thrill of this sport, the adrenaline it gives,”
Travel Ticker’s Dovile Miller told InsideEdition.com. He added:
“Of course, they have to be extremely cautious while doing these. After all, they’re extremely high off the ground.”
Construction for this building is estimated to be completed in 2018 or 2019 and will surpass the height of Shanghai World Financial Center to become the second tallest building in the world at 117 stories high.

Other Adventures
Kuznetsov told InsideEdition.com. The couple had previously filmed their dizzying 2,000ft ascent up the Goldin Finance 117 in Tianjin, China.
“Yes, it was illegal to climb,”
Kuznetsov admitted at the time to InsideEdition.com.
“We didn’t have permission to do this climb.”

The daring duo had to bypass security to finish their goal and set off at 3 am in pitch black.
In the past, Angela Nikolau has climbed landmarks including the Sagrada Familia in Spain, the Shanghai Tower in China, and the Eiffel Tower in France.
Her Instagram feed is full of stunning urban landscapes. The model often perched precariously on the edge of a tall building.
Angela Nikolau and her boyfriend wear no safety harness whatsoever either, so it’s insanely dangerous to climb these buildings in the quest for her nerve-shredding girl selfies. The two are the ultimate crazy couple.
It’s certainly an extremely reckless behavior but it does result in undeniably well-executed and impressive images. The question is, is it worth the insane risk? Moscow-based photographer Angela Nikolau thinks that it is.
