Jaime King at Baby2Baby holiday party

American actress Jaime King, 40 had attended the Baby2Baby holiday party which was held at the Montage Beverly Hills on a Sunday evening in December 2017.

It was a charity event and was attended by other Hollywood stars. Jaime King looked gorgeous in her flowing floral frock which she had worn for the evening.

It had long sleeves and printed delicate white flowers against a grey background. It was of sheer fabric and had billowing ruffles on the arms. Her feet were protected in a pair of cream-colored flats with silver stripes and seemed to be quite comfortable in them.

She had put on a bright red shade of lipstick. Her dark blonde hair was pulled back into a high bun and had a fringe dangling down. There was a long black purse hanging from her right shoulder and she had worn a lovely gold pendant around her neck.

But Jaime King was not alone in this event. She had brought along with her eldest four-year-old son, James King. He was in a white T-shirt and white and dark blue check pants.

He had a pair of sparkling silver combat boots matched with blue and white striped socks. King seemed to cuddle close to his mother. He seemed to be enjoying himself amongst the celebrities and their children.

Jaime King managed to overcome it with her will and determination. She met Kyle Newman on the set of the movie Fanboys in 2005. They soon started dating.

Remembering those days, Jaime said:

“We started hanging out all the time. After one week, we were so close.”

They got engaged in April 2007 at Greystone Park in Beverly Hills. The two tied the knot at the same locale on 2 November 2007.

Her first child, James Knight Newman was born 6 years after their wedding on 6 October 2013. Her delivery was not smooth. She had high blood pressure during the time and premature delivery after 26 hours of painful labor.

Her second son, Leo Thames Newman was born on 16 July 2015.

Her problems with infertility

The children have not come easily for Jaime King. Jaime King had suffered from abdominal pain and other issues for nearly 8 years before doctors diagnosed her condition as Polycystic ovary syndrome and endometriosis. She had an ectopic pregnancy (embryo attaches and starts growing outside the womb) and was nearly dead.

But doctors saved her life. She suffered 5 miscarriages and finding it difficult to conceive underwent in-vitro fertilization (IVF) five times. But all were in vain. She also had 26 intrauterine inseminations but none were fruitful.

After 4.5 years of trying to conceive, she became pregnant with James naturally.

Jaime had taken to Instagram to make people aware of the condition and also to let them know that they are not alone. She said in an interview with People:

“I was hiding what I was going through for so long, and I hear about so many women going through what I went through. If I’m open about it, hopefully it won’t be so taboo to talk about it.”

She added:

“When I got pregnant, it was the best thing in the whole world. I had never felt so grateful, happy and elated.”

Polycystic ovary syndrome is a condition of hormonal imbalance. Females suffering from it have higher than normal levels of male hormones in their blood. They have menstrual difficulties and find it difficult to get pregnant. Women with this condition have infertility problems.
