Jamie Foxx sued for sexual assault at a NYC bar

Jamie Foxx is getting into some serious trouble.

The actor and comedian reportedly assaulted a woman in New York City in 2015.

According to the new lawsuit obtained by TMZ, the Oscar-winning star was already present at Catch NYC & Roof in August of that year when the unnamed woman arrived around 11 p.m.

Just a few hours later, the plaintiff and her pal, who was seated just a table away from the actor apparently asked him for a photo, to which he agreed.

The woman claimed that the 55-year-old looked drunk and replied, “Sure, baby, anything for you.”

After taking a few photos, the woman reported that the Strays actor told her she had a beautiful body and smelled good.

The plaintiff added that the star then grabbed her by the arm to the backside of the rooftop. According to her, he then started touching her inappropriately.

The woman alleges that the Rays star placed his hands on her waist and then moved them under her dress to rub her breasts.

In the lawsuit, the woman also claims that there were many people including some security guards who saw the assault happening. However, nobody intervened and simply walked away despite seeing the woman struggle to get away from him.

Jamie allegedly slid his hands into her pants and put his finger on and inside her.

The woman claimed that once her friend came in her search, Foxx stopped what he was doing.

Internet reacts to Jamie’s alleged sexual misconduct

The plaintiff is suing Foxx and the restaurant for compensatory and punitive damage. She claimed that she underwent medical treatment and suffered emotional distress as a result of the “sexual assault, abuse, assault and battery.”

One internet user commented,

”How are these men supposed to defend themselves against these claims now? Would these women still come forward if the law was that they can sue or file police reports for life but only lawsuits within a week of the alleged event can collect money? 🤔”
