Jana Kramer is officially dating Alan Russell
Jana Kramer has revealed who the new man in her life is.
On Sunday, the 39-year-old country music singer made her relationship with Norwich City Football Club coach and former soccer player Allan Russell public on Instagram.
She made the revelation by posting a cute photo of herself and the Scot cuddling up to each other, with Russell, 42, wrapping his arm around Kramer and smiling right at the camera.
While her athlete boyfriend was smiling holding her, Kramer had a mid-belly laugh in the picture.
She captioned the post:
“Back where it all started… Also this is so us…trying to take a photo.”

She had previously admitted to having a boyfriend but had not revealed his identity
Kramer first hinted at a new relationship on the Jan. 9 episode of her podcast ‘Whine Down with Jana Kramer’.
Kramer announced that she has an “international boyfriend” in the show, and also stated that she has “some exciting news to share.”
She elaborated:
“I don’t know if this is my forever person. But, like, I’m not going to push away love just because I’ve been hurt before. I’m going to embrace it. I’m going to have fun. And if it doesn’t work out, well, you know what, I’m gonna learn a lot of lessons. And I had a lot of fun along the way.”
The couple met on a dating service, but the singer wasn’t sure she wanted to date someone from another nation at first. Russell lives in the United Kingdom with his team in England.
“Even with him, I said, ‘No, this is silly. I’m a mom with two kids and I live in Nashville, like, how would this even work?’ And something about him, you know, I was like, ‘OK, well, let me just see, what does the conversation hurt, right?’ This just feels different.”
Who is Jana Kramer’s boyfriend Alan Russell?
Allan Russell is a former professional soccer player who is now a manager. He played for Hamilton Academical, St Mirren, Macclesfield Town, Mansfield Town, and Partick Thistle in the United Kingdom.
In the United States, he later played for the North Carolina FC and the Los Angeles Blues. Russell has even assisted England’s World Cup preparations after becoming a set-piece coach. (At the time, England finished fourth, with France winning the trophy.)
In 2017, he joined the England coaching staff as the striker coach, and in 2021, he was named an assistant coach for Aberdeen. Russell and Steve Weaver joined Norwich City as co-head coaches after Dean Smith was fired as manager last year.

Jana Kramer’s name has been tied to a few notable faces in the past, beginning with her marriage to Michael Gambino. The couple got married in 2004 and divorced the following year. She later married actor Johnathon Schaech in July 2010, but the couple divorced the following year, too.
In addition, the singer was briefly engaged to Brantley Gilbert in 2013. However, they called off their engagement and she got married to Mike Caussin in May 2015. They had two children from their marriage, daughter Jolie Rae, 7, and son Jace Joseph, 4. Unfortunately, their marriage did not last long and they divorced in 2021.
Kramer later began dating fitness trainer Ian Schinelli in 2021, but they broke up last year.
