Jax Taylor says that he and his wife, Brittany Cartwright have split but are not divorced!

Separation is hard for a married couple and this is more so if they have a child together. This is the case with reality TV star, Jax Taylor and his wife, Brittany Cartwright. They have split but are not yet divorced. Know what Jax has to say on this separation.

Jax Taylor talks about separation from wife, Brittany Cartwright

On Thursday 29 February 2024 evening, The Vanderpump Rules star Jax Taylor was on his way to the gym when reporters intervened and asked him questions about his split from wife, Brittany Cartwright. Jax said that they have split but are not divorced. Jax told Page Six:

“We’re together. We’re living in our home right now,”

He continued:

“She was in a house for a while, but yeah, she’s back now.”

Jax, 44 admitted that the split is fresh and new and that they are still in the process of figuring things out. Further, Jax stated:

“It’s not evil or nastiness,”
“It’s just two people that you now are hitting a 10-year mark in their marriage.”
“We’re just spending some time apart and just trying to re-assess, you know, our situation,”
“We have a child involved and we just wanna do what’s best for our kid.”

Brittany’s earlier announcement of split

On Monday 26 February 2024, Jax was spotted paying a visit to Brittany, 35 in her new home at Sherman Oaks, California. The pair’s original home is in the Valley Village. He did not have his wedding ring on.

The couple dated for four years and exchanged wedding vows in June 2019. The two share a child, son Cruz Michael Cauchi together. Cruz was born in April 2022.

And on Thursday 29 February 2024 morning, Brittany spoke on their podcast podcast, ‘When Reality Hits With Jax and Brittany’:

“Yes, marriages in general are very hard and I’ve had a particularly rough year this past year,”
“Jax and I are taking time apart and I made the decision to move into another home to take some space for the sake of my mental health.”

Further, she added:

“I’m taking things one day at a time,”
“I don’t know what the future holds, but right now my focus is on being the best mom to Cruz.”

The reason for the split is not yet clear.

The couple’s TV shows

American TV personality, Jax hails from Shelby Township in Michigan. His father was Maltese while his mother is Australian. He dropped out from school and joined the Navy. He was there for six months and 4 days. He has a sister Jenny.

Earlier, he worked in Miami asca model. He was a background actor for several years before he joined the TV show The Vanderpump Rules in 2013.

Brittany started a relationship with him and moved to Los Angeles for the show. They had their own spinoff show called Vanderpump Rules: Jax & Brittany Take Kentucky.

They moved out of spotlight in 2020. However, they were part of three episodes of the Vanderpump Rules show in 2022 and 2023 on Vanderpump Rules: Watch with Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor. They are part of another spinoff that will air on Bravo from spring of 2024.
