So, Jay Ellis and Nina Senicar are finally married!

The Top Gun: Maverick actor married Senicar, a Serbian actress in Tuscany, Italy on July 9. They said I DO after being together for five years.

Ellis, 40, shared the good news with a sweet photo of him and Senicar gazing lovingly at each other. In the caption, he also revealed the wedding date.

He wrote:

“July 9th, 2022… Per sempre ?,” using the Italian phrase meaning forever.

Nina, 36, also shared the same photo of their wedding and caption.

The beautiful bride wore a custom Dolce and Gabbana white gown with a structured bustier and a gathered skirt with a thigh-high split. She matched her look with white satin strappy sandals.

The groom donned a custom Bordeaux tuxedo, also by Dolce and Gabanna.

The wedding location at Villa Mangiacane in Tuscany was surrounded by vineyards and olive groves making the scene look absolutely dreamy, perfect for a romantic Italian wedding.

Why is the wedding location so special to the newlyweds?

The couple always wanted to tie the knot in Italy because they took their first ever trip together as a couple there.

The duo who got engaged in January 2019, had plans to wed on July 9, the same year at the exact location in Tuscany.

However, the pandemic was the worst in Italy, forcing the couple to postpone their wedding.

Then, in November, the pair welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Nora Grace.

Then they again set a new date for their wedding for July 2021. They had to postpone it again due to a family loss that caused them to stay away from home for many months.

And the date finally ticked for July 9, 2022.

This time around, the pair did much of their wedding planning virtually and told their guests Third time the charm! in their invitations.

Nina, an actress, and advocate said that she is still processing everything and is beyond happy.

She added:

“but I am beyond happy that all of our friends got together to celebrate our love.”
