Jimmie Allen and Alexis have welcomed their third child together despite announcing their separation in April.
The two are also a parent to two daughters Zara James, 2, and Naomi Bettie, 3.
While their divorce has not yet been finalized, the proceedings are still ongoing.

Jimmie Allen and Alexis Allen welcomed their third child a baby boy amid their divorce proceeding.

On Monday, October 2, the new mama, 27, took to Instagram to share the happy news that she gave birth to their third child.

She shared a series of black-and-white photos of the sleeping baby along with adorable pictures of the newborn with his older sisters. Also, she captioned the post simply, writing,

“Cohen Ace James, Wednesday Sept 27, 2023”

The soon-to-be-divorced couple is also parent to two daughters Zara James, 2, and Naomi Bettie, 3.

Further, Jimmie has an 8-year-old son Aasyn from his previous relationship.

The baby arrived nearly six months after the pair announced their pregnancy news while simultaneously revealing their separation.

Jimmie and Alexis called it quits on their marriage after three years of togetherness.

The country musician, 38, filed for divorce from his wife Alexis in April, alleging “irreconcilable differences.”

Meanwhile, Alexis had suit two hours later on the same day with her own filing. However, the two later combined both filings into a single case.

Similarly, Jimmie was sued for assault and sexual abuse by his former manager on the same day when the divorce was filed.

A victim alleged that the singer raped her during a work trip to Los Angeles on March 2021, when he was filming an episode of American Idol.

Allen has, however, denied the charges while acknowledging that their relationship was consensual. He has since been suspended by his label, BBR Music Group.

In May, Allen publicly apologized to Alexis for making her feel humiliated by my affair.

What’s the status of Jimmie Allen and Alexis Allen’s divorce proceedings?

In a July interview with PEOPLE, Jimmie said that he and Alexis are working on their future as a team prioritizing their family. He told,

“The divorce cast is still pending, as my wife and I are working to resolve things together as a family,”

He also addressed the charges filed against him, admitting that they had a negative influence on his family.

“What I meant by ‘fixing my family first,’ was making sure their mental health and stability are OK in light of these hurtful, false allegations, I took some time off to be with my wife, kids and friends, to ensure everyone was OK.”
