The Bullet Train actress, 24, and director Steven Piet, 32, tied the knot on Saturday in Spain in an intimate ceremony with just their family members and closest friends in attendance, a source told People. JustJared was the first outlet to report the news.

Earlier this week, the young actress shared a romantic series of pics of herself cuddling up to Piet in Portugal. She captioned them, “Love is cool! Love is grand! Love is kissing in front of the Fonte dos Amores and having too many caipirinhas together,”

Talking about how their romance started, the duo first met in 2019 when Piet directed two episodes of her Hulu miniseries The Act. After dating secretly for a couple of years, King announced their engagement last March with photos from the desert proposal and she called the moment an absolute dream.

The filmmaker, for his part, shared some more details about the couple’s milestone, writing,

“The weather was less than perfect. Cold. Windy. Perfectly imperfect to ask my best friend to spend a lifetime together. A lifetime of incredibly safe and vulnerable conversations. Holding hands on silent cab rides home, exhausted from great food and red wine. And oh, the laughter. The uncontrollable laughter.”

He added,

“You’ve unlocked a dimension of love in me that I never knew existed,”

In May, the Kissing Booth actress celebrated her beau’s 32nd birthday with an adorable photo tribute where they both gazed into each other’s eyes followed by some other cute snaps.

Joey captioned the post,

She continued,

Ahead of their romantic wedding, Joey celebrated her bachelorette party in Napa Valley. In the celebratory pictures, she donned a white veil and chic halter-neck dress as she toasted her bachelorette with her girlfriends and family members at a winery. She also shared several fun snaps from the occasion on her Instagram.
