Jon Bon Jovi and his recent interview with Australia’s The Sunday Project

Jon Bon Jovi had a candid talk on American reality TV shows when he was interviewed by The Sunday Project from Australia.

He aired his views on the popular shows Keeping up with the Kardashians and The Real Housewives franchise on Bravo TV. He said that he would not waste even 60 seconds of his life on such shows.

Jon Bon Jovi said:

“I think it’s horrific that we live in that world and I can tell you I’ve never given 60 seconds of my life, ever, to one of those Housewives of blah blah and Kardashians,” 

Jon continued:

“I don’t know their names. I’ve never watched 60 seconds of the show, it’s not for me,”

In 2007, there was a leak of a sex tape of Kim Kardashian with singer Ray J. Jon, 62 criticized that and said:

“What’s going to be in your autobiography? ‘I made a porno and guess what? I got famous,’ F— sorry, I’ll pass.”

Jon was then asked to offer advice to the younger generation who is looking to gain some fame in the entertainment world.

Jon said that there are better ways to get fame and it is better for the younger generation to resort to those ways rather than go ‘the reality show’ way. He feels that fame-seekers should attempt other ways to reach the top.

He said:

“Go and write a book, paint a painting, act, study, sing, play, write. Fame is a by-product of writing a good song.”

He does not like Kim’s unconventional way to gather fame.

Jon Bon Jovi and his career

From what Jon just said in the interview, it looks like he does not like to do and watch reality shows. But in the year 2015, Jon had signed up to do a reality TV show and it was named If I Wasn’t a Rock Star. The show, however, was never aired and the reason for it is not known.

He has a mixed ethnicity-German, Italian, and Russian. As a child when he stayed with his grandparents, he used to sell newspapers. He is a graduate of HS.
