Jon Gosselin has opened up about his love life in a recent interview with The Sun, published on Tuesday, August 1.

He introduced his mystery girl Stephanie Lebo, whom he has been dating for the past two years.

Stephanie Lebo is a beautician-turned-research analyst. The Jon & Kate Plus 8 alum told the outlet,

“We are really happy and in love. We are very comfortable with each other, it just fits. Plus, all our friends are the same people, instead of ‘your friends’ and ‘my friends, I feel it’s taken 19 years to find Steph. All the trials and tribulations, the heartbreak, the fighting, and worrying about who is going to talk about me to the press, then finally I meet Steph.”

Gosselin shared he met Stephanie just months after his split from his ex-girlfriend Colleen Conrad, whom he dated for six years. He shared,

“We met at a backyard barbecue at a mutual friend Dean’s house, It was a hillbilly thing we let fireworks off, it was fun. I had been single for a few months after Colleen [Conrad] nd I broke up.”

Jon Gosselin was smitten with Lebo in their first meeting and he promptly asked about her to their mutual friend Dean. He recalled,

“I said, ‘Did you ever hook up with Stephanie?’ and he said, ‘No man, she’s like my sister’. and then I called Stephanie and asked her the same she said, ‘No way he’s like my brother,’”

The 46-years old DJ shared that their relationship is currently smoothly going as they “fell in love very quickly” and have “rarely argue”.

“We are really happy and in love. We are very comfortable with each other, it just fits. Plus all our friends are the same people, instead of ‘Your friends’ and ‘My friends.””

He continued,

“We have so much in common because we have both been with people who are not the best for us, but we wouldn’t appreciate what we have together if it wasn’t for those experiences,”

Jon Gosselin is a father to 22-year-old twins Mady and Cara and 19-year-old sextuplets Collin, Hannah, Aadedn Joel, Alexis, and Leah from his ex-wife Kate Gosselin.

The former couple married for two decades before Kate filed for divorce in 2009.

Lebo is somehow aware of her boyfriend’s relationship history as she has seen a few episodes of his TLC show. She shared with The Sun,

“I did know who he was when I first met him, although I haven’t watched the show as faithfully as some others have, but I knew who he was and I had seen him DJing before, So I knew about his past and everything although I was never Team Jon or Team Kate because I just didn’t know enough or watch the show that much.”

Adding to that Jon acknowledge he felt relieved that Lebo was so understanding about his tumultuous past relationship history. He said,

“I never thought relationships were easy, I always thought my relationships were going to be a struggle and people would always have a chip on their shoulder where they’d say, ‘Screw you, you’re famous and I don’t have anything and I’ve had to give up this or that.’ But this time it’s not like that at all. It’s easy.”

Following his divorce from Kate, he dated Colleen from 2015 to 2021, whom he has a good term with.
