Speaking to journalist Linsey Davis, Jonathan added:

I’m really blessed. I’m surrounded by people who love me, who care about me. But this has been very, very, very hard and very difficult and confusing in many ways,”

The actor also revealed that due to the lawsuit against him, he has been unable to see his daughter Ella. He continued:

Everything has kinda gone away. And it’s just me now, you know, and my lovely, you know, partner, Meagan [Good], and my dogs,”

Jonathan stated that he did the things unintentionally:

“I pick her up, I put her back in the car. I’m trying to get rid of her. I’m trying to get away from her, as the video shows, you know?”

“Second biggest mistake of my life, I try to keep her in the car.”

Jonathan denies having twisted Grace’s arm and said that he did not know how she had got the injuries. He said that she, in fact, had slapped him and squeezed his face.

Grace’s accusations against the Jonathan

Jonathan’s ex-girlfriend, Grace had testified in court that when she brought her ex-boyfriend in court during the hearing, Jonathan had berated her. That scared her. Moreover, Grace revealed that when the two had a fight of any sort, he would state that he was a monster and would threaten that he would commit suicide. Further. Grace revealed:

“I pleaded with him [so that] he wouldn’t do that,” she claimed. “He would say, ‘It’s in place. It’s in motion.’ I’d say, ‘You can’t do that. What about your mother? What about your daughter?’”

“I would intend to make him feel safe and loved and secure. And he would receive that.”

The whole incident dates back to 25 March 2023 when Jonathan and Grace were boarding a taxi from a bar in Brooklyn. They had a domestic dispute that heated up and ended in violence. Jonathan’s lawyer, Priya Chaudhry was happy that the Judge did not believe that Jonathan caused any injuries to Grace intentionally.
