Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet finalized their divorce just a day after the filing. TMZ confirmed on Tuesday, January 9, that the ex-couples reached a divorce settlement amicably and without further legal issues.

According to their Marital Settlement Agreement (MSA) obtained by PEOPLE,

“They each are fully satisfied with regard to the disclosures provided, they are sufficiently knowledgeable about the terms of the MSA, the value of the assets divided between them and the incomes of each of them.”

The Aquaman actor, 44, and his now-ex-wife, 56, agreed to share joint legal custody of their children Lola, 16, and Nakoa-Wolf, 15, without paying any formal child support.

They will, however, be equally responsible for the kids’ living expenses such as their health, education, and welfare. If one parent chooses to join the children on the trip then “that party shall be responsible for the children’s expenses for such trips.”

Similarly, neither party has requested spousal support. According to their MSA,

“Such waiver of support is permanent and final and no court anywhere ever shall have the power or jurisdiction to award spousal support in favor of either party,”

Jason and Lisa are officially divorced but won’t be formally declared single until July 9.

Jason and Lisa first crossed paths in 2005 at a Los Angeles jazz club, after Lisa had divorced her first husband, Lenny.

The former couple also shared a daughter named Zoe. Zoe was born in the year 1988.

The Hawaii native claimed in a 2019 interview with Esquire that Lisa was “literally my childhood crush” and said that “anything is f—— possible” if he could marry her.

Fortunately, Bonet showed interest in the Dune actor, and they began dating shortly after.

On July 21, 2007, the couple was blessed with their first child a daughter named Lola lolani Momoa. Lisa announced the following year that she was pregnant with Jason’s second child.

Later the same year, she gave birth to their second child a son named Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo.

In October 2017, the pair then secretly got married in an intimate ceremony in Topanga, California. The pair had lived a blissful marital life until they announced their split in early 2022.

The couple left fans shocked after they announced their separation in January 2022 after five years of marriage.

There were reconciliation rumors after some time, however, Momoa later clarified it was a fake report and that they were not back together.
