Former child actor Jonathan Taylor Thomas made a rare public appearance in two years.
Earlier this week, he was spotted for the first time at a convenience store near his Southern California home.
The former ’90s personality was photographed refilling his metal coffee mug at the store and then walking to his car, which was parked right outside.
For the outing, he wore a black beanie, glasses, a light brown sweater, and jeans. Similarly, completed his look with a pair of dark sneakers and a matching beanie.
Well, he looks completely different since he was first spotted in 2021. He was last photographed two years ago when he was spotted going out for a walk with his two small dogs in Los Angeles.

He hadn’t been seen in public in eight years before that.
Thomas appears to have aged considerably over the last two years.
Before 2021, he made his last television appearance in 2015 in an episode of Last Man Standing.
A brief acting career of Jonathan Taylor Thomas
Jonathan Taylor Thomas began acting in 1987 at the age of 7. He rose to prominence for his role as middle son Randy Taylor on the ABC sitcom “Home Improvement,” which aired from 1991 to 1999.
In 1995, he costarred alongside Tim Allen in the big screen rendition of “Man of the House.”
Similarly, he voiced a young Simba in Disney’s 1994 animated feature film “The Lion King” and Pinocchio in the 1996 film “The Adventures of Pinocchio”.
He exited the television program “Home Improvement” in 1998 to continue his studies.
In a 2013 interview with PEOPLE magazine, Jonathan talked candidly about why he decided to quit acting.
“I’d been going nonstop since I was 8 years old. I wanted to go to school, to travel and have a bit of a break, To sit in a big library amongst books and students, that was pretty cool. It was a novel experience for me.”
Even though his career has taken off, he doesn’t regret leaving the limelight behind. He said to the outlet,
“I never took the fame too seriously, It was a great period in my life, but it doesn’t define me. When I think back on the time, I look at it with a wink. I focus on the good moments I had, not that I was on a lot of magazine covers.”
In 2010, Jonathan graduated from Columbia University majoring in philosophy and history. Similarly, he also attended St. Andrews University in Scotland and Harvard University.
