Jordan Davis and Kristen O’Connor are expanding their family. The couple, who are already a parent to two, are going to add a new addition to their family.

On Thursday, February 23, the 34-year-old country singer took to Instagram to announce the exciting news that his wife, Kristen is pregnant again.

He shared a clip of himself in which he sings a song playfully at the beginning of the video, signing, “Next things you know, you’ve got a baby coming in June”.

Meanwhile, the baby’s due date is in June this year.

He then panned a camera to his pregnant wife standing in the kitchen debuting a baby bump while placing his hand on her belly. He then continued,

“And acted out the words in ‘No Time Soon,’ She got knocked up. Baby number three coming,”

Davis asked Kristen, chuckling, “Is that the way we’re saying it, babe? ‘You got knocked up?” to which she replied with a smile, “I think we can find a better way to say that”.

He then concludes the post, by writing,

“We’re pregnant. Again, Next thing you know.”

Similarly, Davis simply captioned the post,

“Next Thing You Know…,”

Davis and Kristen are already co-parenting two children a son Eloise Larkin, 3, and a daughter Lochlan Joseph, 17 months.

The pregnancy news comes almost days after Jordan Davis released his new album

Jordan Davis recently released his second album titled Bluebirds Days on February 17, 2023. Similarly, the audio of “Next Thing You Know” is a featured track on Davis’ brand new album, which is about the twists and turns of life and the joys of raising a family.

It was released as a single in August 2022. The lyrics read,

“Cause next thing you know / You’re wearin’ scrubs and a funny white hat / And the doctor’s sayin’, ‘ How you doin’ there, dad?’ / And nobody’s ever called you that / And you take the drive home slow / Next thing you know,”

Davis also announced their pregnancy to his label by issuing a statement,

“We pushed the limits once more. We got another one coming in June. I gotta figure out how to not have kids in the summer because I’m usually pretty busy. I don’t know what I was thinking then but, You know I’m so excited,”

He acknowledges that the pair has yet to know the gender of their baby and noted that they will most likely hold off on revealing the sex of their unborn baby until they welcome their little one into the world.

He clarified,

“There truly is no greater joy in the world than welcoming a baby, and we don’t know what it is. We’re gonna wait and find out, but (we’re) really excited come June to be bringing home a baby brother or a baby sister to Lock and Eloise. So far Kristen’s been great.”
“Everything looks healthy, you know, we’re just continuing to pray for a safe delivery and looking forward to meeting the little fella or little girl here soon. I’m pumped.”
