Josh Basili revealed to Vice that he was pretty negative growing up. He was trying to make everyone smile and if he made anyone smile that day his job would be done. He said,

“The way I see things is that if I’m a positive person, that’s all I can control—I can’t control other people being negative, so I just try to make everyone smile.”

He claimed that he is not affected by the memes as long as people are seeing his face and know him. Josh likes to make fun of himself and is fine with others making fun of him. He added,

“Well, I already made those jokes, so it’s not going to bother me.”

Josh Basili had three chances of kissing while being on the show Love at First Kiss. He was a kiss virgin before going to the show. His first kiss was with Annalisa which was actually not a kiss.

He got nervous when he was with her so he just gave her a side kiss and went away. Josh got a chance to kiss again and this time was with Emily who asked him if she could kiss him to which he said ‘yes’.

But the kiss got awkward as Josh did not kiss Emily back. It seemed like he was resisting her kiss. Josh had the last chance of kissing and he was all prepared. The third girl was a girl named Roxanne who he had his first proper kiss. Vice explained the kiss as,

“he tips Roxanne’s neck back and holds her elbows in as she bends uncomfortably backwards. The look on Josh’s face is pure concentration, hers desperation (perhaps just because she needs to swallow): Their bodies are shoulder-crunchingly tense. After the kiss, he proposed to Roxanne and he accepted it. But their relationship did not last long. They broke up soon after the show.
