On Friday 22 November 2019, the third child of RHOA’s star Kandi Burruss arrived in this world. But it was not Kandi Burruss who delivered but a surrogate mother gave birth to the baby.

The reality TV star of RHOA, Kandi Burruss had baby no. 3. She shared the happy news, with her fans on social media. She wrote:

“She’s here! Blaze Tucker born at 6:54 p.m. on 11-22-19 weighing 8 lbs, 1 oz,”

“I’m so thankful to add another healthy, beautiful, baby girl to the family!”

“Congrats are in order to #KandiBurruss and #ToddTucker! The two welcomed their second child, a baby girl, via surrogate tonight.”

It was in September 2019 that the Bravo TV channel announced the news, that their actress Kandi Burruss, 43, and her husband Todd Tucker are expecting their baby via surrogacy.

This is the couple’s second child together but a third child of Kandi Burruss. She has a daughter Riley, 17 with ex-boyfriend Russell Spencer.

Todd and Kandi have a son Ace who is now 3. Todd also has a daughter called Kaela from a previous relationship. Kandi and Todd wed in 2014 in Atlanta.

In November 2018, Kandi opened up about her surrogacy and pregnancy plans. She told US Weekly:

“We did find someone, and right now we are in the process — you know it hasn’t been done — but we’re in the process,”

Further, the reality TV star explained:

“We have two embryos that are still left from when we had Ace. So, we have two embryos left and we know they’re girls.

But Kandi who hails from Georgia was, also nervous and scared at that time. She said:

“I don’t have anybody who can tell me [about it]. When we were going through the IVF process, I did have a couple of friends who had done it, so, you know, I could talk to them, but this is a situation where I don’t have anybody I can talk to.”

Kandi had talked about a baby mama and Andy Cohen had corrected her:

“Don’t you ever say that because you are the mother. And to say she’s your baby’s mom is taking away from you.”

Kandi said that it made her feel better.
