The controversial rapper-turned-designer is reportedly being sued for assault and battery over an alleged 2022 incident that left a fan disfigured.

The court documents obtained by TMZ on Wednesday revealed that Justin Poplawski claimed the rapper punched him repeatedly after he asked him for an autograph.

The apparent victim claimed that he was waiting outside a hotel on January 13, 2022, to get West’s autograph when the controversial musician told him to “Go the f—k [out of] here before I beat you the f—k up.

The father of four then reportedly threatened to “make a f—king example out of” Poplawski.

The victim, who previously got the Yeezy founder’s signature without a problem claimed that West struck him and asked, “So do you want to get attacked for real?”

After Justin requested an apology for the first punch, the Grammy winner then allegedly struck him many times more, “severely injuring him.”

At the time, Kanye’s legal team said that he did nothing wrong.

West’s attorney, Michael Goldstein said at the time,

“video and photographs provided to the City Attorney’s office confirmed that this particular individual followed my client to three different locations over a short period of time and ultimately waited for him at his hotel where he approached my client at 3 a.m. [local time].”

“He once again entered my client’s personal space, which was unacceptable,”
