Katherine Kelly has divorced her husband of seven years, Ryan Clark!

Coronation Street star Katherine Kelly and her husband Ryan Clark have decided to separate. The two were in a marital relationship for the last seven years.
A spokesperson for the couple confirmed the divorce. The source also stated that though things were hard for them, the separation was an amicable one. There was no bad blood between the two.
The spokesperson said:
“Katherine and Ryan have made the difficult decision to separate.
“They see it as a positive move for both of them and the separation is completely amicable.
“Their children are their top priority and they will continue to co-parent as good friends.”
The relationship timeline of the couple
Katherine and Australian Ryan first met in the year 2011. Soon the couple liked each other and started dating. In 2013, they went on a trip to Las Vegas.
And later they wed at the same destination in the same year. It was a secret wedding at The Little Church of the West in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Their two daughters were born after marriage. Orla is now six years old and Rose is just three years old. Since the two are young, co-parenting and joint custody would be asked for a divorce agreement.
It is also said that Katherine would relocate to North England so that she is close to her family there. They live in the town of Barnsley. The reason for the split has not been revealed.
Katherine Kelly and her career
Katherine is now 40 years of age. She had portrayed the character of Becky McDonald in the famous and popular series Coronation Street for 6 years.
She came to Weatherfield in the year 2006 and was part of this famous long-running play until 2012 when she departed from it.

Additionally, Katherine played the role of Lady Mae in the ITV period series called Mr. Selfridge. Her recent appearance was as DI Karen Renton in the drama series called Liar.
Talking of her role, Katherine had said:
“It’s my belief that Karen Renton is that way because she has to be that, and if she wasn’t that, I wouldn’t believe that out of all the detectives that they could send from the Met to solve this front-page news story, why would they pick her if she wasn’t excellent at her job? I think she would have been chosen because she can act very quickly and very swiftly, and she has great instincts.”
The other series in which she played roles are Cheat, Gentleman Jack, Criminal: the UK, The Last Witch, and Happy Valley.
Besides doing TV, Katherine has also acted in theater and starred in She Stoops to Conquer at the National Theater as Miss Hardcastle in 2012.
