The bait-and-switch scheme of OK! magazine

The paparazzi never cease to pen ‘lies’ about actress and model Katie Holmes. Rumors of her romantic involvement with singer and songwriter Jamie Foxx have been doing the rounds for the past few years. This time it was the turn of OK! Magazine claimed without proof that Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx were already married.

They mentioned a ‘wedding album’ and used old photographs of Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx at a charity function on the front cover to sell their ‘false statement’. After these untrue claims on the cover page, the magazine on the inside pages makes a U-turn and states that they are not presently married but are actively planning for their great day.

They added that the wedding is most likely to be held in October this year for which Katie Holmes’s ex-husband, Tom Cruise will not be invited. The same tabloid had also run stories in the last year about Katie Holmes’ pregnancy with Jamie Foxx’s baby.

But none of the stories came out true. Gossip Cop has concluded:

“Their reporting is a complete fabrication.”

Update on Katie and Jamie’s relationship

After being in a serious relationship for six years, Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx broke up in 2019. The reason for their break up is unknown.

Katie is currently dating Emilio Vitolo and planning to wed him.

“Tabloids don’t’ print the truth”

Katie Holmes has repeatedly denied all the rumors associated with her life and friendly relations with Jamie Foxx. Katie Holmes, in her interview given to ‘Town and Country,’ has said that media scrutiny comes naturally with you being a Hollywood celebrity.

However, she says:

“In my household, we know what they print isn’t true, so we don’t pay attention,”

She adds that news about celebrities written in tabloids should not be taken seriously and her family also does not give much importance to it. Magazines come up with fabricated tales that are far from the truth.

The Scientology-led split

Katie Holmes was initially married to actor Tom Cruise. It was Tom Cruise’s third wedding and Katie Holmes’s first. They tied the knot on 18^th November 2006. They have a daughter, Suri Cruise who was born on 18^th April 2006.

Tom Cruise is a follower of the religion of Scientology. Though born a Catholic, Tom Cruise’s interest in Scientology was sparked after his marriage to his first wife and actress Mimi Rogers.
