On 25th October 2021, the ex-couple announced their split through Instagram. The reason for their breakup is that the two are not compatible as life partners.

They released a joint statement,

“It is with mutual love and respect that we have decided to go our separate ways. We are so grateful for the moments we shared together and the entire journey that has unfolded this year, but we ultimately have concluded that we are not compatible as life partners, and it is the most caring choice for both of us to move forward independently,”

Katie and Blake have asked for kindness and privacy as both are navigating the transition. They want the best for one another and have requested support in their decision.

Their split news did not come as a shock as their fans knew the split was coming as they previously revealed that problems were going on in their relationship.

Previously, Moyes talked about how engagement made their relationship stronger and said,

“When you walk away with just a boyfriend, it’s not as big of a commitment and promise that an engagement is.
