Kelly Ripa New Co-host

Kelly has now found her partner for our favorite show Live. It’s none other than Ryan Seacrest and all of us are loving it.

We know we love our hot and sexy Kelly but we have to admit that hottie Ryan has made our hearts throbbing and we are now more excited about the show.

Well, it’s not the first time Seacrest is hosting the show as he has been to many shows and hosted a lot more than we can even begin and now the Live gig will be Ryan’s 45th job.

It’s a joke, of course, but he is still hosting 102.7 KIIS-FM, is a producer of Keeping Up With the Kardashians and J.Lo’s NBC cop show Shades of Blue (among other TV programs), and a host of several red carpets shows during award season, and, of course, also the host of Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve every Dec. 31.

For his first-ever Live episode as the permanent co-host, Ryan Seacrest chose to wear a tan blazer and cream-colored pants.

Last April, Michael Strahan announced that he had accepted a full-time job as co-anchor at Good Morning America. Hence he left Kelly’s show.

Fittingly, his last episode was Friday, May 13, which, according to Kelly at the time, was not bad luck:

“Guys, hi! Don’t take this as a bad sign. It’s Friday the 13th! But 13 is a lucky number.”

Rumor of the show Live

But there was a rumor as well that Kelly was against Ryan as her co-host but the news turned out to be false. The gossip cop figured out the truth about the story.

The absurd story comes courtesy of RadarOnline. The often disproven sites allege in a news article that Ripa did not want Seacrest, and was trying to get “someone she could boss around.”

While the outlet puts out the allegation, it offers no proof or even the names of people she would have preferred to be her co-host. Instead, the webloid simply makes claims about Kelly Ripa preferring a cohost who was not as “big of a star as she is.”

Ripa was quite upset when Michael Strahan left “Live” for “Good Morning America” without giving her much advance notice. Part of her anger was directed at ABC for orchestrating Strahan’s switch.

Although the news seems an absolute joke and how genuinely happy Ripa looked when announcing Seacrest as her “Live” co-host, Gossip Cop still counter-checked with sources close to all the parties involved. Ripa’s source tells that she was “overjoyed” he accepted the offer.

Meanwhile, an ABC insider confirms,

“Kelly was in charge from the beginning and glad everything worked out with [Ryan].”
