It’s the 27th wedding anniversary of Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos but the love between them is still untouched and smitten with each other.

The longtime couple, who married in May 1996, marked their twenty-seven years of wedding anniversary on Monday, May 1.
The Live with Kelly and Mark cohost, 52, shared a series of throwback photos of the couple on her respective Instagram story in honor of their decades-long romance.
Kelly posted a photo of the two from their wedding day in the first of the series while writing next to the photo “Love of My Life”. In the second photo, the pair could be seen grinning at one another and “Happy Anniversary,” written over a photo.
A third photo showed the two smiling in front of the iconic ‘LOVE’ sculpture, captioning the snap, “27 years!”
Further, the Hope and Faith alum posted a separate Instagram post a carousel video featuring their throwback snap from throughout the years.
She also added Madeleine Peyroux‘s Dance Me To The End of Love in the background of the clip and captioned it,
“27 years … in 27 seconds!”
Mark, for his part, reposted his wife’s IG story to his own Instagram story. In his Instagram post, he shared a throwback PDA snap of himself and Kelly while wishing,
“Happy Anniversary to my fave @kellyripa ..27 years!!!!!”
What’s the key to Mark Consuelos and Kelly Ripa’s long-lasting marriage?
Kelly and Mark first met on the set of the soap series “All My Children” and instantly connected with each other. The following year the pair exchanged vows and the rest is history.
Consuelos gets candid about their long marriage in a 2019 interview with FOX News,
“I’m crazy about my wife. We both come from families, our parents are still together — family is super important to us. We have three great kids, and that also bonds you, having that experience together,”
The couple shared three children Michael, 25, Lola, 21, and Joaquin, 20. He continued,
“She’s also really patient and really tolerant. I think that’s a big key to the success of our long [marriage]. We’ve been married forever!”
The actor also referred to Ripa as his “best friend,” admitting that he was “super fortunate”. Similarly, Ripa revealed in one of her 2020 episodes of Live with Kelly & Ryan that the secret to their success is patience, perseverance, and compromise.

She said,
“You’re going to fight, you’re going to have disagreements. Relationships, marriages are not sprints, it’s a marathon. There’s going to be like, mile 24, when you’re like, ‘I quit.’ But you just got to push through. Just push through.”
