The early life of Kelton Balka

Kelton Balka was born on 4th July 1995 in the USA. Kelton is the son of Michael Balka and the late Kristy Balka. His mother Kristy expired when she was giving her final child named Kierstin on 14th April 2009. Kelton is the elder brother to Ariana, Grant, Carson, and Kierstin Balka.

After his mother’s death in the year 2009, his family moved from their home in South Carolina to Tennessee. Balka was homeschooled before his mother’s death. He and his siblings were sent to attend Temple Baptist Academy.

In the year 2013, Kelton attended Pensacola Christian College and graduated in the year 2017. When he was in college, he was Delta Psi Delta, Soccer coach, and Collegian secretary.

Kelton Balka and Josie Balka married life

Kelton Balka and Josie Balka met each other in the year 2014 at a piano recital. They started talking to each other after the church service and became friends.

But a year later, they ended their friendship as Josie’s parents thought that she was too young to be in a serious relationship. Again after a year in November 2016, they reconnected when Josie accompanied her family on a trip to Kelton’s school.

They started talking again and began texting each other. Likewise, the two talked regularly in the next semester. Finally, the couple announced they are dating on 10th August 2017. After that, Kelton asked her parents for permission to begin courting her. Her courtship was announced on 24th January 2018.

On 19th June 2018, Kelton and Josie got engaged after he proposed to her. Photographer Emily Klarer posted their photo on 21st June 2018 on Instagram which was their engagement photo. But the photo was deleted and on 22nd June 2018, they finally announced their engagement.

Wedding

Kelton and Josie walked down the aisle on 5th October 2018. Their nuptial was outdoors at Cove Lake State Park in Caryville, Tennessee. Their wedding was officiated by Josie’s father Gil Bates.

Bobby Smith became the best man and Grant Balka was the groomsman. Likewise, his sister Ariana Balka was the bridesmaid. Likewise, their wedding was attended by 400 guests.

Kelton said,

“We were going to have to postpone the wedding. I had mixed feelings about that because I was getting nervous, but it’s out of my control.”

“I had emotion building in me throughout the entire day, but when I saw my father walking up to the front by himself, that was the first time that it really hit me, and I was struggling a lot with that,”

Kelton Balka and Josie Bates announced on 13th February 2019 that they were expecting their first child. Her due date was in July 2019.

Likewise, on 19th July at 2:23 am, they announced their first child was born. They named their daughter Willow Kristy Balka. She weighed 6 lb, 10 oz, and was 19 inches long at the time of birth.

The couple announced on 9th September 2020 that they are expecting their second child. Their second child is due in March 2021 but found out that they lost the baby.
