Kendall and Sushant Photoshoot
Sushant and Kendall shot for the May edition of Vogue and on the magazine’s tenth anniversary, the world-famous Peruvian photographer Mario Testino was brought in to capture their chemistry on his lens.
Last month, the magazine issued the shoot and the pictures have now been released.
Sushant and Kendall shot in Hotel Samode Palace in Jaipur when Kendall was in India in February. Sushant is shown in a stylish white suit, and Kendall wears a frilly off-shoulder blouse and pants.
Kendall Jenner was in the news recently for the outfit that she wore at the Met Gala, which was completely sheer except for a black couture G-string.
The Luxe Lingerie La Perla designed the outfits. The model also received backlash for appearing in a Pepsi ad that was criticized for being tone-deaf about the Black Lives Matter movement.
Sushant Singh Rajput was last seen in MS Dhoni – The Untold Story. His upcoming projects include Raabta, Chanda Mama Door Ke, and Tarun Mansukhani’s next which has been tentatively titled Drive.
Controversy on Vogue India Shoot
Although the picture is loved by many people it has also created controversy. Readers also complained that they would have preferred to see an Indian celebrity or model in place of Kendall.
“Why not an Indian model there are so many??? This doesn’t create the sense that India has its own beauty and character,”
Facebook user Kavita Shourie commented on Vogue India’s page.
“She is beautiful but I’m pretty sure in a country of over 1 billion they could have found an Indian!” user Nikita Martinz said. “If they want international phenomena Priyanka [Chopra] and Deepika [Padukone] are huge right now.”
Indian actor Sushant Singh Rajput appears in some of the shots, posing alongside Jenner, but she appears on the cover of the magazine solo.

Sushant Singh Rajput was an Indian film and television actor. He died on 14th June 2020 by hanging himself at his Mumbai apartment.
He started his career with television serials, including an award-winning performance in the soap opera Pavitra Rishta (2009–2011) and as a participant in two dance reality shows.
Rajput then entered films with a role as one of the three male leads in the drama Kai Po Che! (2013), for which he received critical acclaim as well as three Best Male Debut awards.
