Kenny Braasch and Mari Pepin-Solis are engaged! On the 5th October 2021 episode of the show, the Bachelor in Paradise couples had a happy ending. Kenny proposed to her on the beach with a Neil Lane diamond ring during the season 7 finale.

Kenny said,

“Mari, you know as soon as you came down the stairs and through the gates of Paradise, I honestly was blown away about how beautiful you were. You know, I don’t if it was love at first sight, but it was definitely something — something I’ve never felt before,”

She added,

“At the end of the day, we did go through a lot of real-life relationship stuff, and we were tested like no other couple in Paradise, I think. … I’m shaking. Mari, I am f—king so in love with you. And I literally, like, I can’t see my life without you. You’re such an amazing woman that you’ve changed my whole outlook on life. … Mari Pepin, will you marry me?”

During the early days of this season, Mari had made it clear that she wanted to keep her options open. She had a discussion with Wells Adam and discussed her point of not wanting to be exclusive in the early weeks. She talked with Kenny after that and revealed that she cares for him but wants to take time.

Likewise, she asked him not to date others and promised not to do the same. But things took a bitter turn when Kenny went to the boom-boom room with Demi Burnett and she even celebrated his birthday.

Mari threw the birthday cake Demi brought for Kenny. But after a few dates, Braasch decided to choose Mari after she admitted that she was still interested in him and regretted opening their relationship.
