Kim Kardashian throws a lavish birthday party for daughter Chicago West

She threw a surprise birthday party for her daughter Chicago‘s 5th birthday, something which many normal children can only dream of.

The Skims founder shared a glimpse of the extravagant Hello Kitty-themed party on TikTok where she has nearly 13 million followers.

The mother of four captioned the video,

“Happy Birthday, Chicago. I love you so much. I can’t believe you’re 5 years old.”

Kardashian made sure the decorations were mostly pink throughout the entire downstairs of her minimalistic mansion in Calabasas, California. The birthday girl wore her hair in long pink braids to match the decor of the occasion.

The reality star left no stone unturned to make sure her child had a great day. She had a pink carpet installed with balloon arches that touched the ceilings. The highlight of the decor was Hello Kitty signs wearing Chi necklaces; short for Chicago.

The party was a hit that included face painting, Hello Kitty pottery stations leading into a huge ball pit, and a slime-making table.

Guests could enjoy themselves with a ramen bar, a grilled cheese station with pink cheese, and a Hello Kitty print. There was also a waffle cart and a milkshake bar.

Kim was not done with the party and wore an I Love You Chicago shirt for her daughter’s day.

Kim did not have Kanye and his new bride at Chi’s party

Before the celebration began, Kim took to her Instagram account to send a very special birthday message to her baby girl.

Alongside a carousel of pictures of the mother-daughter duo posing in matching pajamas in bed, the reality star wrote,

“My twin. Happy 5th Birthday,”
“I really can’t believe you’re 5! I’m so so proud to be your mom, it’s the best feeling in the entire world,”

While many of Kim’s family and friends attended the bash, Chicago’s father Kanye, and his new wife Bianca were seemingly absent from the party.

Kim and West settled the divorce two months ago after being married for 8 years. Apart from Chicago, the exes also have a daughter North,9, a son, Saint, 7, and a son, Psalm, 3.

After dating a series of women after his split with Kim, Kanye quickly moved on and married the Yeezy employee right after the divorce. Sources claim that the disgraced rapper and the 27-year-old architectural designer tied the knot secretly in a non-legal ceremony.

Reports suggest that Kim is not a fan of West’s new wife. An insider said,

“Kim hates her,”
