It’s over for Kroy Biermann and Kim Zolciak. The couple filed for divorce twice in these four months.

The former NFL player recently filed divorce papers in Fulton County Superior Court in Georgia with his now-estranged wife Kim Zolciak.

Kroy is seeking sole legal and physical custody of their children, as well as child support and alimony, according to court filings on Thursday, August 24.

The couple had been married for 11 years and shared four children together Kroy Jr., 11, Kash, 11, and 9-year-old twins Kane and Kaia.

Further, Kim is also a mom to daughters Brielle, 25, and Ariana, 21, from her previous relationship.

The duo first filed for divorce in May and cited “irretrievably broken” as the reason for their divorce. In addition, they said there was “no hope of reconciliation” at the time.

According to TMZ, the new filing comes after some “nasty” spats between the couple.

The divorce news comes two and a half months ahead of Kim and Kroy’s 12th anniversary.

The couple tried to rekindle their marriage after filing for their first divorce. A source confirmed to The Messenger at the time,

“They’re getting along right now so they’re trying to work things out,”

According to a court document obtained by E! News, the reality star filed to have the divorce case dismissed after the Fourth of July vacation.

Her lawyers said at the time that “the parties are dismissing their divorce action and attempting a reconciliation.”

A week later, the ROHC alum was seen wearing her wedding ring again. Many began to think that the couple’s relationship was progressing.

Similarly, Andy Cohen was surprised that they were able to rekindle the flame. He said on the July 10 episode of Radio Andy,

“I was really surprised to hear that Kim and Kroy got back together, I mean, I had, like, a half-hour talk with her a few weeks ago, and it sounded like irreconcilable differences.”

Nevertheless, it appears that things did not work out, and the couple has decided to divorce.
