Kyle took to Instagram on Saturday, December 9, to share the heartbreaking news that she and Aven have broken up.

The breakup news comes just two days after the Bachelor in Paradise season 9 finale aired.

She wrote in her Instagram story,

“Following our relationship announcement yesterday, I want to thank my God, he didn’t allow me to live another day in the dark. In the last 24 hours, I have been grasping with the fact that one of the most important relationships in my life dissolved due to multiple infidelities.”

“This is not just a show but my real life and for the foreseeable future, I will be in a time of healing and trying to put the puzzle pieces of my life back together. Please respect my privacy at this time. Love you all.”

What’s the reason behind Kylee Russell and Aven Jones’ breakup?

Kylee alleged that Aven had cheated on her. Meanwhile, Aven acknowledged the accusation and later issued a public apology for his “major mistakes.”

The Bachelorette season 19 alum wrote on his respective Instagram story,

“After careful thought and consideration into writing this I want to first and foremost apologize to Kylee, my family and my friends for my actions. I have made major mistakes in the relationship and hurt someone who was very close to me. At this time, I am in an extremely extremely low place trying to work on myself. I am doing my best to find healing, find myself and be a better person.”

Did Kylee Russell and Aven Jones get engaged?

Kylee and Aven ended the season without getting engaged, but they also didn’t break up.

The model and influencer, 30, was not ready to propose to Kylee, but she was still hoping that he would change his mind and propose to her.

The registered Postpartum Nurse, 26, said during her confessional on the show,

An engagement is what I’ve been wanting, and I know it’s him. I know, So, I don’t get why he can’t see that as well. I don’t know what more I can do,”

While Jones feels that becoming engaged does not ensure the longevity of a relationship. He explained during his confessional,

“As much as I believe in Paradise, I can’t not compare it to shifting the same dynamics in the real world. I can’t do it. I don’t want this to be a dealbreaker for us. I’m not willing to lose her over an engagement in Paradise. If that’s the conversation that starts I’m going to have to really make a real decision on what I want to do because I don’t know how to solve that. I don’t know what the solution is. I don’t know where to go from here”

The pair ultimately chose to depart the beach together after expressing their love for one another at the end of the season. Unfortunately, their romance was short-lived.
