Lara Spencer is an American television presenter and the wife of American entrepreneur Rick McVey.
Lara and Rick got married on 8th August 2018. They engaged in their engagement in January 2018.

For their wedding, they chose outdoors in the mountains in Vail, Colorado. It was a long weekend wedding.

On a special day, Lara Spencer wore a sleeveless lace Adam Zohar gown with a see-through mermaid skirt at the bottom. Likewise, she topped off the look with a loose bun updo.

Her husband Rick looked stunning in a white tux. Their wedding was held in front of 135 friends and family members. When she walked down the aisle the most romantic song A Thousand Years played in the background. It was her son Duff who walked alongside her.

At their reception, their decor included plenty of white florals and lanterns. Similarly, they had a four-tiered cake that included chocolate, funfetti, berries, and cream layers.

Previous marriage of Lara Spencer

Lara Spencer was previously married to David Haffenreffer. David is a former CNN journalist. They married on 3oth September 2000 at St. Andrew’s Dune Church. It was an Episcopal ceremony.

Likewise, they have two children Katherine Paige Haffenreffer born in 2004, and Duff Haffenreffer born in 2002. The family lived in the Riverside section of Greenwich, Connecticut. But they moved to Los Angeles in the year 2008.

Their married life did not work out and they separated in March 2015. Their divorce was finalized two months later in June 2015.

Rick McVey is an American entrepreneur who serves as chairman and chief executive officer of MarketAxess. He holds an MBA from Indiana University – Bloomington. After joining JP Morgan in Manhattan, the tech entrepreneur decided to launch his own company in 2000.

He founded MarketAxess in April 2000. Similarly, Rick launched the company as an independent venture in 2000, after leading an initial funding round that raised $24 million in capital from JP Morgan.

Lara was the creator and executive producer of the prime-time game show, It’s Worth What? Also, she has also created and produced two shows based on her passion for interior designing, which were a one-hour special titled I Brake for Yard Sales.

Likewise, her first book, titled I Brake for Yard Sales, a guide on how to create high-end-looking rooms using secondhand finds, was published and released in April 2012.
