Reality star Larissa Dos Santos Lima has been slapped with a domestic violence case after she punched her estranged husband Colt Johnson.

Larissa Dos Santos Lima and the domestic violence charge

The actress of 90 Day Fiance Larissa Dos Santos Lima has been charged with domestic violence after she allegedly attacked her estranged husband Colt Johnson.

TMZ has reported that this Wednesday 16 January 2019, the Las Vegas police charged her with a misdemeanor.

The criminal complaint stated that Larissa did ‘willfully and unlawfully use force or violence against or upon the person of her spouse’.

Larissa committed the crime on 11 January 2019 and she was arrested the same day. It is alleged that she had punched her estranged husband Colt Johnson in the face at their marital home situated in Las Vegas.

Colt Johnson was left bleeding in the lip area due to the hard punch planted by Larissa on her face. It is not known whether the violence was provoked or not.

Colt, 33 soon after her arrest filed for divorce in Nevada. He also disclosed to the authorities that after her arrest, Larissa tried suicide. The police report also mentioned this fact.

It said that Larissa had consumed half a bottle of anti-depressant pills and locked herself in the bathroom when they tried to arrest her for her crime.

Besides mentioning the suicide attempt by the Brazilian native Larissa, the police report also mentioned that after the facial punch given to Colt, Larissa inflicted injuries on her face and arms, and body and later said that her husband had caused those injuries to her.

The report added that Larissa accused her husband of cheating when she came to know that he had purchased porn.

The previous, arrests of Larissa

This is not the first time that Larissa has been charged and arrested. It has come to light that there were two arrests of Larissa last year and both were on charges of domestic violence.

The arrests were in June and November 2018 and both were cases of a misdemeanor which were dismissed later.

Colt Johnson and Larissa and their relationship

Larissa and Colt appeared in the sixth season of the reality show 90-day fiance on TLC. The story revolves around the lives of couples whose spouse has been given a K-1 visa to join their partner who is a US citizen. This visa is given to foreign fiances of US nationals.

The foreign spouse has 90 days to marry or leave the country. Colt and Larissa had met via a dating app. Colt is a computer programmer and lives with his mother and three cats.

After 11 days, he proposed to her and Larissa moved to Las Vegas with Colt. But their relationship has not been a smooth one with incidents of domestic violence.
