When did Lauren Manzo and Vito Scalia file for divorce?

In October, the RHONJ alum, 35, shared a video announcing her split from her now-estranged husband Vito Scalia. She said in the video,

“By now you guys have seen the news that has broken, Just want to let you guys know, we’re all good, this has been done for a very long time. The last part of the process was filing. We were on the same page, this is something that we did together,”

Similarly, she went on to acknowledge that there is still a cordial relationship between them and “continue to move forward as a family”.

“All that matters to us is that our daughter is happy and healthy. Her privacy is important to us. We haven’t been on TV in seven years, which is why we did not feel the need for some dramatic announcement. And we continue to move forward with love and respect for each other, and we will always be a family, and that’s it. It’s about our daughter and her privacy because she didn’t ask to be on TV — we did. So, we appreciate you guys.”

The former couple called it quits on their relationship after eight years of marriage. They have a 6-year-old daughter, Marchesa, together.

Scalia cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason behind their divorce.

According to what he said in the documents, they were having problems around six months prior, which led to the breakup of their marriage.

Similarly, he added it’s “apparent that the marriage should be dissolved” since “there is no reasonable prospect of reconciliation.”
