Quentin Tarantino and Daniella Pick are engaged!

American actor, writer, and director Quentin Tarantino, 58 is finally engaged! Quentin Tarantino proposed to his girlfriend, Israeli singer Daniella Pick, 38 on 30^th June 2017 with a sparkling engagement ring.

Both are very happy. Daniella is reported to have said:

“It’s true. We are very happy and excited,”

Update: Quentin Tarantino and Daniella Pick married on November 28, 2018, in Los Angeles. The couple is expecting their second child as announced in February 2022.

This is Quentin Tarantino’s first marriage. His official Facebook shared links to various articles in the Israeli media breaking the news. Daniella Pick is the beautiful and talented daughter of Israeli veteran musician Tzvika Pick. Tzvika Pick also expressed his happiness.

He said:

“Yes, there is joy in our family. They got engaged yesterday. We have wished them mazel tov.”

How their love blossom?

Quentin Tarantino had first met Daniella Pick in 2009 when he had gone to Israel to promote his film Inglorious Basterds. The duo dated for some time. Daniella had also joined Quentin Tarantino on the red carpet in a show event in Los Angeles.

However, their romance was brief and the two soon separated. The reason was that Quentin Tarantino at that time did not want to sacrifice his career.

He had said in an interview in 2009:

“I’m not saying that I’ll never get married or have a kid before I’m 60. But I’ve made a choice, so far, to go on this road alone. Because this is my time. This is my time to make movies.”

He had also explained:

“When I’m doing a movie, I’m not doing anything else. It’s all about the movie. I don’t have a wife. I don’t have a kid. Nothing can get in my way. The whole f***ing world can go to hell and burst into flames. I don’t care. This is my life.”

Quentin Tarantino compared his work to climbing Mount Everest and said:

“It’s Mount Everest. If you’re climbing Mount Everest, you’re not doing anything else. All your concerns, all the mundane things, family, any of that, it just disappears. Goes away. It’s mist. It’s just nothing but the mountain, every single solitary day.”

Destiny brought the two lovers together again and since 2016, they were spotted as a couple at various film events around the globe. LAST November, Quentin Tarantino had also made the announcement that he would retire after making two more films. So the filmmaker has kept his word and is now set to settle down soon with his love!

Quentin Tarantino defined success at the creativity conference. He said:

“Hopefully, the way I define success when I finish my career is that I’m considered one of the greatest filmmakers that ever lived. And going further, a great artist, not just filmmaker.”

Describing his creative process for his films, twice Oscar-winner Quentin Tarantino had revealed that he gives serious thought to the music in his films. Quentin said:

“So much of [the movie’s language] revolves around a sound or a song. Before I’ve started, I’m seriously thinking about the music. I’m listening to a track and picturing everyone at the Cannes Palais just loving it.”

He tours his personal record collection with his new script. His collection is in a room that possesses the design of a vintage record store. His films have song pieces from the 1960s to the 1980s.
Currently, Quentin Tarantino is working on a documentary about the year 1970. Much detail on it has not been divulged by the great filmmaker.
